Aviva Wynn, MSW, LSWAIC

Hi, I’m Aviva

I grew up here in the PNW and after some years away I am so glad to be back for good. I value the unique beauty and character of this region and, when I’m not working, I like to spend my time exploring all that the surrounding cities and forests have to offer.

My approach

My therapeutic style is warm, contemplative and direct. I draw from multiple frameworks to meet you where you are based on your unique experience and needs. My integrative approach is informed by attachment and psychodynamic principles that place particular emphasis on emotions, interpersonal relationships and the ways in which the past informs the present. Together we’ll explore the patterns that no longer serve you and develop meaningful insights for lasting change.

Areas of expertise

  • Depression, anxiety

  • Cancer and terminal illness

  • Life transitions and relationship hurdles

  • Abuse and trauma

I have experience in community mental health as well as in schools working with adolescents. I spent the last year working with individuals, families and couples navigating the stress of cancer treatment. I continue to deepen my clinical knowledge and expand my skills through supervision, peer consultation and ongoing training.

Aviva is currently receiving supervision from Liat Feinberg, LICSW, to ensure the delivery of the most effective and ethical care.
